With Courage or "Dinosaur"
"With Courage is a 1999 thoroughbred gelding. "With Courage" is off the track. Olivia-Daisy cared of him when she worked in New Orleans. Ladybug Stables has owned "With Courage" since 2004.
Courage has shown us that he is a great trail horse, lesson horse and show horse. He has competed on the Trillium Circuit and has placed in most classes in which he has been shown.
Courage is for lease now to a suitable rider.
Houdini Tricks' or "Beanie"
Houdini is a 1988, 15.1hh, Saddlebred/Arabian, gelding. He has belonged to Ladybug Stables since 1999. Daisy brought him to Kemptville College as her mount in 2001 and 2002. Houdini has tons of energy and loves people. He is an excellent beginner horse (walk/trot/canter) but he needs someone more advanced to ride him over fences.
Houdini is available for lease now!
Madison a.k.a. "Fatty Maddy"
Madison is a 1986, grey, thoroughbred gelding. Ladybug Stables acquired him in September 2007. He has been trained in dressage and has competed in eventing. Madison is being used in all levels of lessons, but we try to keep jumping to a minimum. He is excellent over fences as it is, so he requires very little practice to keep him great! He is sound and we want him to stay that way for as long as possible!
Madison is available for lease now.
Ina Pickle a.k.a. Pickles
Pickle is a 16hh, 2004, bay, thoroughbred gelding. Ladybug Stables purchased him as a school horse in December 2007. He is great for all levels of riders. In 2008 he has shown in local shows in the green division. He is a very reliable trail horse because acts three times his age!
Pickle is available for lease now!
Jinx was born on April 29,2006.
She is a 14.2hh, blue roan, Quarter Horse/Belgian mare. She owns the Michelle Wotton and she loves attention and love from anyone passing by! "Jinxy" is used as a school horse and she is great for flat lessons, trail rides and small jumps since she is young.
Jinx is available for lease!
Misty is a 2002, 16hh, pinto, mare. She owns the Holst family but is also used as a school horse for Ladybug Stables. She is great in all levels of lessons and very easy to get along with.
Misty is not available for lease.
Ozmond aka Oz
Oz is a 2000, 15.2hh, chestnut quarter horse gelding. He belongs to Ladybug Stables and moved her in December 2008. He is great for beginner to advanced lessons because he seems to learn his riders ability and suit them. Throughout 2009 he was shown by Leah Lamothe in the 2'3" division and Jordyn Rempel in the walk/trot division quite successfully!
Currently Oz is hoping to find someone to lease him to give him the love and attention he deserves!
Lucy aka Lucy-Loo
Lucy is a 2004, 15.2hh, Paint/Percheron, mare. She came to Ladybug Stables in the hopes of finding someone that will help her become the horse that she has the potential to be!
Lucy spent the summer of 2009 showing with her leaser (Kristen Dowd) in local shows and local Trillium shows in the 2'9" Training Hunter Division and Hunter Medal. She is definitely reaching her potential!
Lucy is not available for lease, she has been leased out to Kristen Dowd
AND THE DOGS...
Mya a.k.a "The Mya-Banana OR Mya-puppy"
Mya is a 04/03/2007, black and white, 5hh, border collie. She our barn mascot and Daisy and Jamie's dog. She makes appearances at most horse shows that Ladybug Stables attends. She comes on trail rides on the property, but has to stay home when we go on the road.
Mya helps keep our students' parents' busy during riding lessons by insisting that they play ball with her!
Abigail aka Abby or Flabby
is a 2003, 6hh, female, yellow lab. She moved to Ladybug Stables on November 1st, 2008 with her brother Fisher. Abby soon adopted Daisy as her person and loves being in the barn with the horses.
Abby likes to think with her stomach, the kids have to watch their lunches and the horses have to watch their grain. Abby has a very interesting diet, the see food diet. If she sees it, she thinks she can eat it!
Keyloo is a 2004, black, neutered male cat. He is just one of the dogs.
